Expanding Symbol feature
Before the Free Spins sequence begins, one symbol is selected as the Special Expanding Symbol. When it forms the required winning combination, it expands across the participating reels.
High-paying symbols such as Merlin, his Staff, Potion or Spell Book require two or more reels for the expansion condition, while lower-paying coloured Rune symbols require three or more reels.
Free Spins
Three or more Hatched Dragon Egg Scatter symbols can trigger the Free Spins feature. Play’n GO states that the feature can award up to eight Free Spins and adds a sixth reel during the bonus.
Gamble Spell
Qualifying wins can also offer Merlin’s Gamble Spell. The feature lets the player attempt to double a prize by correctly choosing a colour, subject to limits defined by the game rules.
Because this is an optional gamble mechanic, the current game help screen should always be used for the exact conditions applying to the loaded version.
